On behalf of the Mexican government, the Foreign Ministry strongly condemns today's terrorist attack that targeted a bus carrying Coptic Christians in the Minya province in southern Egypt. At this time, there are 26 reported fatalities and dozens have been injured.
Mexico conveys its condolences and solidarity to the people and government of Egypt and to the victims' families, and reiterates its rejection of acts of violence against civilians and of all forms and manifestations of terrorism.
