Before the President of the Republic, Enrique Peña Nieto, Cargill Mexico announced its Business Plan 2015-2018. More than 7 billion 200 million dollars will be invested in it. In the event, the Secretary of Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal, said that in 20 years, the exports of the agribusiness and agricultural sectors increased from 4 billion dollars to 26 billion dollars, due to the efforts of the competitive integration of Mexico.

They were also present the Secretaries of: Foreign Affairs (SRE), José Antonio Meade Kuribreña; Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA), Enrique Martínez y Martínez; Agrarian, Land and Urban Development (SEDATU; all acronyms in Spanish), Jesús Murillo Karam; and the Governor of Jalisco, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval; and the CEO of Cargill, David W. MacLennan, among others.
