Social communication coordinator and Spokesman  Eduardo Sánchez Hernández, and Chancellor Claudia Ruiz Massieu announced the official visit President Enrique Peña Nieto will pay to Washington DC, United States at the invitation of President Barack Obama.

This the second time that the two leaders will attend bilateral meeting in less than a month, and the issues to be discussed are climate change, energy, regional cooperation and border issues.

During the bilateral meeting, they will review the issues addressed by the two countries during the North American Leaders' Summit in Canada, designed to make North America the world’s most competitive region.
