Banobras, in accordance with its commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters, makes available to the public an External Communication Mechanism (ECM) to address proposals, inquiries and/or complaints made by persons or groups affected or potentially affected by the environmental and social impacts derived from projects evaluated by the Environmental and Social Risk Management System (SARAS) of Banobras, including those financed with resources from international green agencies or funds.
The ECM is regulated under the principles of accessibility, transparency, legitimacy, equity, dialogue, predictability, compatibility with rights, continuous learning and publicity, with the objectives of facilitating the redress of grievances, the participation of the community and interested parties, as well as the access and disclosure of information.
