The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development presented the Agromatrix model to the government of Campeche, which will enrich its Plan for Agriculture 2021-2027 that, in a coordinated manner, combines support, goods and public services from federal structures with those of the state government.
The project aims to strengthen phytosanitary and zoosanitary programs so that agricultural, livestock, aquaculture and fishery producers, especially those of small and medium scale, have greater opportunities to market their goods in more and better markets.
To this end, Senasica highlighted the importance of working as a team in programs and actions for the prevention, control and eradication of pests and diseases, maintaining and strengthening preventive actions against the Mediterranean fruit fly in the south-southeast and improving animal health status for the benefit of livestock producers.
