Pesticide residue analysis training course

The National Reference Center for Agri-Food Safety and Biosafety, through the Pesticide and Contaminant Analysis Area, offers the general public training for the determination of pesticide residues in plant products by QUECHERS method and by chromatography technique (gas/liquid) coupled to mass spectrometry/mass.

To access this course, you must send your request by e-mail to QA Jocelyn Grethel Cedillo Saldaña, Head of the Pesticides and Contaminants Analysis Area, dgiaap.iica18@senasica.gob.mx, to arrange a training date.

The course consists of 40 hours divided into 5 days, in which the following topics will be addressed:

  • Sample conditioning
  • Pesticide extraction methods
  • Instrumental analysis and fundamentals of Gas and Liquid Chromatography with mass spectrometry/mass coupling
  • Preparation of reference materials
  • Analysis of results
