According to the World Health Organization (WHO), water is essential to the human body at any stage of life because it helps regulate body temperature, keeping hydrated and elastic skin, lubricates joints and organs and maintaining good digestion.

The health sector has pointed out that one of the adverse consequences of inadequate water intake is dehydration, the symptoms depend on the degree of deficiency of water but, in general are dizziness, headache, weakness and fatigue, dry mouth and lack of appetite.

Sedentary or moderately active and under normal conditions of temperature people, the body loses water through urine, feces, breath and sweating. By increasing of physical activity and different temperature conditions sweat contributes to the loss of body water.

Therefore, it is recommended to consume 2 to 3 liters of water daily but varies according to age, sex, diet and physical activity.

The necessary water to cover the daily requirement comes from food and beverages, in addition to that, is important that every day consider taking at least 2 liters of water as part of our habits.
