• Through its support and commitment, the Presidential General Staff, as an honorary member of the "Sentinels" American Football Organization, confirms its permanent interest in promoting human development in children and youth.

The Sentinels girls’ teams of the Presidential Guards Corps, won the championship in the Major Flag and Flag Puppies categories for the Spring 2016 Season, obtaining their 5th and 2nd titles respectively.

After remaining unbeaten as a result of their outstanding performance in the regular season of the American Football Association of the State of Mexico (FADEMAC), the team members in the Major Flag Women’s Category finished first in the standings, beating the Bucaneros de Satélite  team 35-6, on June 4.

This team, which won its 5th championship in its history, has participated prominently since its inception in 2008, and includes students ages 13 and over.

The same day, the Sentinels from the Flag Puppies Girls’ Category, comprising students ages 9 to 12, beat the Dragones Rojos de Cuautitlán Izcalli team 19-0. This is the second championship they have won since the team’s creation in 2014.

These results are the result of the discipline, joint work, identity and sense of belonging to the institution, players’ and coaches’ commitment and unity of purpose , and the enormous moral support from their family and friends.

The Sentinels American Football Organization of the Presidential Guards Corps is an institution through which the Presidential General has expressed its willingness to contribute objectively and directly to actions with social benefits that affect the student community, by encouraging sport and physical activity as well as the preservation and development of civic and moral values.
