He confirmed the government’s will and commitment to supporting actions to improve the welfare levels of Hidalgo’s residents.

President Enrique Peña Nieto met today with Governor Elect of Hidalgo Omar Fayad Meneses, with whom he discussed the current status of Hidalgo and various projects to be undertaken by the state administration.

At the meeting, held at the official residence of Los Pinos, President Peña Nieto congratulated the governor elect on the victory obtained in the June 5 elections. He also confirmed the government’s will and commitment to supporting actions to improve the welfare levels of Hidalgo residents.

The president also expressed his commitment to strengthening the joint work with the state administration for the development of Hidalgo.

Omar Fayad thanked the president for his willingness to support and accompany the efforts he will make to achieve further development in the state.

Omar Fayad pledged to work collaboratively to meet the needs of the Hidalgo population.
