President Enrique Peña Nieto met separately with the governors elect of Veracruz, Oaxaca and Tlaxcala, Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares, Alejandro Murat Hinojosa and Marco Antonio Mena Rodriguez respectively, with whom he discussed the current situation in their states.
The president and the governors-elect also discussed various projects and programs they will undertake in their respective state administrations.
The president congratulated them on their success in the June 5 elections, and informed them of the government’s willingness to support their administrations in order to undertake the projects, programs and actions that have been proposed to improve the well-being of the residents of Veracruz, Oaxaca and Tlaxcala.
He also told them of his commitment to promote joint work with their governments, to allow further development in the aforementioned states.
The governors elect told President Peña Nieto of the importance of the fact that the government will accompany the efforts they will make to achieve further progress in their states.
