This military base has the capacity to accommodate 500 members of the armed forces and is designed to increase security in the southern region of the state, particularly the municipalities of Amacuzac, Jojutla, Puente de Ixtla and Tlaquiltenango.

The area adjoins various states, as a result of which the combined efforts of state governments are both important and necessary.

The Mexican Army, with the loyalty and honor with which it assumes the mission of strengthening the rule of law, also contributes to the consolidation of a Mexico at Peace.

To this end, the new facilities of the 108th Infantry Battalion were inaugurated because in these times of change and transformation, the Armed Forces are noted for their social commitment and deep love of Mexico.
