President Enrique Peña Nieto led the launch of the IMSS Digital Medical Appointment scheme.

With this tool, beneficiaries will now be able to make an appointment with their family doctor using their phones or tablets.

“This will allow them to avoid the time it would take them to make an appointment. It will allow them to spend more time with their families or engaged in other activities,”: EPN.

The digitization of services provided by the Mexican Social Security Institute and other government agencies seeks to make life easier for users.

Nowadays in the Mexican Social Security Institute, "Nearly 8 out of every 10 digital services can be done digitally."

At the beginning of the administration, four years ago, “None of the services provided by the Social Security could be done digitally; they were all face to face from membership, through incorporation to the payment of worker-employer contributions.

"Good things count and count for a lot, and here are examples of the very good things that have been done within the institution to improve the services offered to 74 million Mexicans”.

This administration has set out to provide much more efficient management through greater transparency and, above all, the digitization of various services: EPN
