This tool, developed jointly with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), encourages open data use as a resource for supporting the transparent implementation, monitoring and measurement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Aware of the importance of assessing and measuring results-based progress, the Sustainable Development Data Tool allows one to view, explore and compare indicators related to SDG over time, with different levels of spatial and temporal disaggregation and demographic groups.

The indicators, historical series and metadata for each indicator can also be downloaded and viewed as Open Data on the website.

Mexico released this tool in open source technologies to provide the international community with tools to support the monitoring and enforcement of sustainable development for all.
