Today, the Bexar County Public Information Office made public the names of some of the Mexican citizens who died on June 27, without giving prior notice to the Government of Mexico.
Given that the information is now public, and in order to be precise about the details of the case, the Foreign Ministry reiterates that it has been in contact with the families of the 26 deceased individuals identified as Mexicans to date.
However, in two cases the families of the deceased have not fully identified the victims. Out of respect for these families, we have not included their full names.
The most up-to-date list of deceased Mexicans, which could still change depending on the investigations of the Government of Mexico and the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office, is as follows:
