The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the United States has accepted the nomination of Esteban Moctezuma as ambassador of Mexico in that country, a position entrusted to him by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
The Foreign Ministry will send the appointment to the Senate for ratification in the coming days.
If ratified by the Senate, Esteban Moctezuma will assist with a common approach to development and well-being shared by Mexico and the United States that is based on mutual respect and shared expectations.
