Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray held a meeting yesterday to review the major issues of Mexico's relationship with Venezuela.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Socorro Flores Liera; Mexico's ambassador to Venezuela, Eréndira Paz Campos, who is in Mexico on a visit; and Mexico's representative to the OAS, Ambassador Luis Alfonso de Alba, with whom the Foreign Secretary analyzed the operational needs of the Mexican embassy and decided on lines of action given the current situation in Venezuela. 

Foreign Secretary Videgaray reaffirmed Mexico's willingness to maintain a respectful bilateral relationship with Venezuela and to continue implementing the decisions set forth in the Lima Declaration adopted on August 8 in Peru.
