The course was organized by the Chair of the Committee on Information with the help of the Foreign Ministry, to address the Ministry’s specific needs regarding access to information and the protection of personal data and to standardize the criteria of the Ministry with the General Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information.

Alejandro Alday González, the Foreign Ministry’s Legal Consultant and Chairman of the Committee on Information, inaugurated the course for more than 100 Foreign Ministry officials, who learned about the principles, information and criteria contained in the General Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information.

The training was conducted by officials from the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
