On behalf of Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal, Secretary of Economy, Octavio Rangel Frausto, Principal Officer, chaired the Second Regular Session 2015 of the Consultative Council of the National Institute of the Entrepreneur (INADEM).

Enrique Jacob Rocha, President of the INADEM, in his role as Technical Secretary, presented a detailed summary of the progresses in the evaluation of the calls of the National Entrepreneur Fund (FNE, by its initials in Spanish) 2015 and indicated that, through its five categories, 28 calls were opened through which they have approved projects whose worth is more than 200 million pesos.

During this session, they were also revealed the progresses in the planning of the 2015 National Entrepreneur Week, an event for which a promotion strategy will be implemented nationwide, with the aim of giving entrepreneurs across the country, the chance to participate.

To this end, a committee of care was integrated in each state by the Delegation of the Secretariat of Economy (SE), the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDECO) and the Secretariat of Tourism (SECTUR, the three by its initials in Spanish), in addition to the support of chambers, business organizations and academic institutions.

Jacob Rocha presented progress of the Fourth General Meeting of the Council Mexico-United States of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MUSEIC, in Spanish), to be held next September in Palo Alto, California, in which progresses, achievements, challenges to meet and results of the activities made by the subcommittees will be shared. Member organizations committee leaders and government representatives will participate.

For his part, Enrique Solana Sentíes, National President of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CONCANACO-SERVYTUR MEXICO, in Spanish), stressed that the business world is evolving and that working together is essential. "We are changing the lives of the entrepreneurs," he expressed.

Erik Porres Blesa, President of the Commission of the Entrepreneur Fund of the Mexican Association of Secretaries of Economic Development (AMSDE, in Spanish), mentioned that lives have been transformed through the National Entrepreneur Fund, which has evolved. However, he said, the budget is limited for the demand of resources we have to face. "It is a fund that has become serious and we are required to promote," he added.

The session was attended by José Eduardo Mendoza Contreras, Chief of the Design and Implementation of Public Policies for Productivity Unit, on behalf of the Undersecretariat of Competition and Regulation, Rocío Ruiz Chávez; Héctor Márquez Solis, Head of the Unit of Government Procurement of the Undersecretariat of Industry and Commerce; Guillermo Erick Ramirez Torres, Deputy Director General of Information and Statistics of International Trade of the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade.

They also were present Carlos Ibargüengoytia Riva Palacio, representing the Head of the Legal Affairs Unit; Enrique Abedrop Rodriguez, Head of Internal Body of Control; Alfredo Montes Díaz, Director of Financial Services Banking, Housing, Public Works and Tourism of the Development Banking Unit of the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP, in Spanish); and Agustin A. Garcia Villa Río, Director General of Impulse to Tourism Investment and Financing of the Undersecretary of Innovation and Tourism Development of the Secretariat of Tourism, (SECTUR, in Spanish).
