Depression, anxiety and impulsivity are mental illnesses that most frequently affect the population under 18 years of age. It is estimated that only one in six young people who present this type of alterations seek specialized medical attention.

Those who are untreated, have a 3.2 percent increased risk of dropping out of school and 18 times more risk of developing drug dependence.

Some symptoms of depression are: sadness, anger, frustration, disinterest in your favorite activities, headaches, digestive problems, increased or loss of appetite, tiredness and sleep disturbances.

In Mexico, depression is among the top ten causes of loss of healthy life years and is considered the main reason for work disability.
