In the State Forum on Health Leaders "La Gestión como Punto de Encuentro", held in León, Guanajuato, the head of the Branch, Jorge Alcocer Varela, announced the results of the census conducted on sanitary conditions in more than four thousand units medical and hospital from eight states in the southeast of the country, where it was confirmed that most units report a precarious situation in its operation.
In his lecture "Universality of Health Services / Health Government Plan", he revealed the results of the analysis of the interviews carried out with health personnel in 3, 905 first level care units, and 226 interviews from second and third level of attention.
For the lifting of this census, 850 evaluation variables were considered in the units of the first level of care and one thousand 300 for the hospitals, in terms of equipment, medication, supplies and personnel in turn. He explained that this information was complemented with a medical audit.
As a result of the rapprochement with the state authorities, the register of health institutions in the western and northern regions of the country was advanced.
