The Secretary of Health, Jorge Alcocer Varela confirmed that 95 people have lost their lives due to the explosion in Tlahuelilpan, Hidalgo and that still remain under the charge of the Health Sector, 44 patients hospitalized in Hidalgo, State of Mexico and the capital of the country.

Of these 44 patients, six are hospitalized in the state of Hidalgo, seven in the State of Mexico and 31 in the different instances of Mexico City.

During a morning conference led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, doctor Alcocer Varela reported that four patients from Pachuca and Tula, Hidalgo, were transferred to the National Center for Research and Assistance of Burns (CENIAQ) of the National Institute of Rehabilitation "Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra "

The CENIAQ has areas of continuous admission in the emergency department, shock management, burn treatment in acute phase, hospitalization of sub-acute, operating rooms, debridement and surgical scrubbing rooms, as well as a Skin and Tissue Bank that procures human skin of cadaveric donor, essential for the care of serious burns.
