During February, Mexico´s health sector at the federal and state levels will conduct a health campaign focused on promoting the timely detection of conditions that affect exclusively men or that have a high frequency among them, such as prostate and testicular cancers, diabetes and hypertension.

In Mexico, testicular cancer is considered one of the main conditions among men between 15 and 40 years. It is estimated that 60% of cases arrive late, although this type of cancer has one of the highest cure rates compared to other types of neoplasms.

The numbers of consultations and emergency care in the health services show less assistance from men. In this sense, the campaign seeks to reduce the lack of enthusiasm that many men have to attend medical and health care follow-ups.

Under the motto #SoyHombreyMeCuido, the institutions will carry out an intense campaign in social networks and health fairs to reinforce the message of prevention focused on men.
