People who perform diets without medical or nutritional guidance, run the risk of presenting some degree of malnutrition by not consuming the nutrients required by our body.

Those who have malnutrition have symptoms such as tiredness, bad mood, pain in bones or muscles, bleeding from dental gums when brushing teeth and stomach gas. In other cases, people eat compulsively throughout the day.

Deficiency of vitamins such as A, B, C and folic acid, in addition to minerals such as Iron, Iodine, Calcium and Zinc, cause different levels of anemia, weakening, hormone changes and increase the risk of infections, while having optimal levels of these nutrients protects us against diseases.

Some strategies to maintain adequate food nutrition are to respect the meal schedule, have three meals a day and two snacks, consume at least one liter of water per day and include all food groups: fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats.
