It is designed to show micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) the needs for goods, services and public works, in order for them to identify new business opportunities and learn how the government makes it purchases.
This year, the event will be held from November 10 to 12 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City; admission free.
Expo Government Procurement involves 17 Ministries and over 93 institutions and decentralized bodies that account for 90% of government purchases, including Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), CONAGUA and LICONSA.
Thanks to this space, since 2012, over 94,200 MSMEs have become government suppliers, making total sales exceeding 372 billion pesos.
