The United Nations (UN) declared August 12 International Youth Day; this year is dedicated to the civic participation of young people, essential to achieving sustainable human development.
In every young Mexican, there is a personal history of dedication, effort and daily struggle. Young people are distinguished by their plurality, their openness to the world and their undeniable commitment to Mexico.
One of the reasons for investing in our country is its young, talented and trained population. Our population has an average age of 27 years, which contrasts with the US, where it is 37.4, and Japan, where it is over 45. In other words, Mexico has invaluable human capital to drive economic growth.
The government regards young people as great allies for breaking molds and stereotypes and thus transforming Mexico together. In every young person, there is an agent of change, ready to make Mexico a better country.
