Foreign Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu began a three-day
trip to Washington, D.C. on Monday, meeting that same day with experts on
Mexico and Latin America from Georgetown University; Johns Hopkins University;
the Woodrow Wilson Center; the Pew Hispanic Center; the Congressional Research
Service and the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center at the Atlantic Council. While
in the U.S. capital, she will also meet with officials from the government, the
OAS and the Inter-American Development Bank.
