Carmen Parra, artistic sponsor of the contest, will attend the inauguration. This is the second year in a row that the exhibit has been displayed at the Caracol Museum, which is located on the access ramp to Chapultepec Castle.

The contest, organized by the Institute for Mexicans Abroad, invites children between 7 and 11 years of age living outside Mexico to submit their drawings. This year’s theme is "My favorite corner of Mexico." The winning entries are selected by a jury specialized in children’s art from the CONACULTA “Wings and Roots” program.
