President Enrique Peña Nieto continues his tour of the Middle East. On Monday, the President and the official delegation were in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

President Enrique Peña Nieto (@EPN) began by attending the World Future Energy Summit 2016, where he said "a new climate regime is possible without slowing economic and social development."

There was an official welcome ceremony and agreements were signed on:  

·         Reciprocal investment

·         Tourism

·         Cultural and artistic cooperation

·         Clean energy and energy issues related to climate change

·         Energy cooperation

·         Higher education and scientific research

·         Joint scholarship program

In recent years, the relationship between Mexico and the United Arab Emirates has grown stronger thanks to investments by Mexican companies in the UAE. The UAE is Mexico’s 54th largest trading partner and ranks as the second largest Middle East investor.
