The Toyota company announced an investment of one billion dollars in the construction of its new vehicles assembly plant in the state of Guanajuato, where more than 2000 jobs will be generated. The event, which was held at the official residence of Los Pinos, was led by the President Enrique Peña Nieto, and was attended by the Secretary of Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal; the Governor of Guanajuato, Miguel Márquez Márquez; The President of Toyota North America, Jim Lentz; and the Japanese Ambassador to Mexico, Akira Yamada, among others.
