During the heat season the risks of heat stroke, sunstroke, sunburn and dehydration increase.

That is why it is important to increase the consumption of bottled water, boiled or disinfected frequently to stay hydrated.

  • Do not expose yourself to the sun for long periods, especially from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and remember to wear light clothing and light colors.
  • Before leaving home protect yourself with a cap or hat, dark glasses, umbrella and sunscreen. And for a few seconds open the doors of your car before getting out.
  • Try to stay in cool, shady and airy places.
  • It is also important to exercise hygienic habits such as washing your hands often with soap and water before eating, serving and preparing food, and after going to the bathroom.
  • Your groceries should be washed and disinfected. If they are raw keep them in refrigeration until ready.
  • Do not consume food on the street, as the dust contaminates it and the heat contributes to its quick decomposition.
