President Enrique Peña Nieto met today with Governor Elect of Quintana Roo, Carlos Joaquín González, with whom he discussed the current situation of the state and various projects to be undertaken by the state administration for the benefit of Quintana Roo residents.
President Peña Nieto congratulated the governor elect on his victory in the June 5 elections. He also confirmed the government’s will and commitment to support actions to raise the population’s standard of living.
The governor elect told the president of his commitment to work in coordination with the government to meet the needs of the population, and thanked him for his willingness to accompany the efforts made by the government of Quintana Roo to achieve greater development in the state.
