President Enrique Peña Nieto, met today at the official residence of Los Pinos with Governor Elect of Chihuahua Javier Corral Jurado, with whom he discussed various aspects of the current situation in the state.

President Peña Nieto congratulated the governor elect on his victory in the June 5 elections. He also confirmed the government’s will and commitment to supporting the actions and programs undertaken by the new state administration, which will make it possible to increase the levels of welfare of Chihuahua society.

The president also pledged to strengthen joint work with the state administration for the development of Chihuahua.

For his part, Javier Corral thanked President Peña Nieto for the government’s willingness to accompany the efforts undertaken to achieve greater development in Chihuahua.
