President Enrique Peña Nieto met today at the official residence of Los Pinos with Governor Elect of Zacatecas Alejandro Tello Cristerna, with whom he discussed the situation of the state and the projects to be undertaken by the state administration.
The governor elect, who will be in office from September 12, 2016 to September 12, 2021, told the president of various projects to promote the welfare of the residents of Zacatecas.
The president congratulated the governor on hi victory in the June 5 elections, and confirmed the government’s willingness to help his administration implement the programs and actions that have been planned.
President Enrique Peña Nieto told the state governor of his commitment to promoting a joint effort to foster the development of the state and improve the levels of social welfare of the residents of Zacatecas.
Tello Cristerna thanked the president for his willingness to support the efforts that will be undertaken during his administration and expressed his commitment to working in coordination with the government to meet the needs of the Zacatecas population.
President Peña Nieto invited the governor elect to meet shortly with the Secretaries of the Cabinet to review in detail the plans and projects of his administration and the best way to support the state.
