This Friday, HH Pope Francis will arrive in Mexico City. He will spend six days in Mexico, visit six cities and make a number of trips.

In order to enable the population to be prepared, informed and take the necessary precautions during Pope Francis’ visit from February 12 to 17, the National Digital Strategy Coordination Office (CEDN) offers the public useful information in real time, through a map showing the routes and schedules; the stops on each route and the location of nearby hospitals and health centers.

Through the website www.gob.mx/papa-en-mexico users will be able to see:

· The routes and schedules of all of Pope Francis’ journeys:

·  The stops on each trip and

· The location of nearby health and care centers.

Benefits

· Useful information in real time on Pope Francis’ visit to Mexico.

· The public will be able to locate health centers, water stations and toilet facilities.

· In collaboration with the Waze traffic application, the CEDN will report on the traffic changes caused by Pope Francis’ visit in order to improve mobility and reduce traffic congestion.

Cities

Pope Francisco will visit Mexico City, Ecatepec, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Morelia and Ciudad Juárez.

https://www.waze.com/events/pope-visit-mexico-city-2016 from the start to the finish of each route. Users will receive the most important notifications related to the Pope’s visit in a timely manner. According to Waze, this platform can help citizens have a better ride, regardless of what is happening in the streets.
