My name is Regina, I am 38 years old and was born in Mexico City. I studied acting and art history and a few years later, by chance, I also completed a degree in addictions counseling. For the past 11 years I have tried to help people with addictions and their relatives.

In 2006, I wrote the book “Girando en un tacón," and in 2010 “Ya Aliviánate.” I contribute to the blog section of El Universal newspaper every Friday.

I love running; a couple of years ago I started competing in ultra distance races, but the biggest challenge is not the number of kilometers you run but learning to enjoy the journey and your training and every day of your life with its ups and downs. One of the things I enjoy about running is that it gives me the opportunity to discover the most beautiful places in Mexico; from the highest peak to the most dangerous cliff, forests, rivers, ravines and parks.

Reading another of my favorite pastimes; I love reading at dawn. I spend my time in my office promoting and coordinating various projects, getting involved in new things that pose fresh challenges.”
