President Enrique Peña Nieto concluded his international tour to Turkey and the Philippines with a press statement; he participated in the Group of 20 (G20) Summit, conducted a state visit to the Philippines and attended the 23th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Meeting.

“We are proud to participate in these working meetings that project a modern, vigorous Mexico, which assumes its global responsibility and is not isolated, and on the contrary, is quite clear that achieving development within and development for its society will derive from the relations it builds with the nations of the world.”

President Peña Nieto explained that 63 percent of the wealth generated by our country is due to our trade with the world.

After his press statement, the president was transported to the Villamor Airbase of Ninoy Aquino International Airport to return to Mexico.
