President Enrique Peña Nieto presented the RadarCiSalud: locate your medical unit application during the opening event of the IMSS Regional Hospital 270 and Tampico General Hospital.

Implementing this application helps achieve one of the objectives of the National Digital Strategy (NDS) by using technology to promote the efficient use of installed healthcare capacity.

The main purpose of the application is to bring health services to the people through Information and Communication Technologies.

RadarCiSalud: locate your medical unit provides the georeferenced location and data on over 28,000 public, private and social health establishments.

It is available on all the major platforms for downloading applications: IOS, Android and Windows phone. It can be downloaded for free and will continue to operate even if the user is not connected to the Internet.

This app is the first product of the Center for Health Intelligence (CISALUD) of the National System of Basic Information on Health (SINBA). Its implementation helps to achieve one of the objectives of the National Digital Strategy (NDS): using technology to promote the efficient use of installed healthcare capacity.

The government’s commitment to Mexicans’ health is reflected in the public works and services provided during the past three years: over 500 hospital units and 2,700 outpatient units have been built, completed or modernized nationwide, with an investment of nearly 20 billion pesos.
