The Latin America Country Brand Report , published by the consulting firm Future Brand, analyzes the strength of country brands in Latin America, in other words, the perception and associations generated by countries in the region.

The strength of the perception of a country gives it a competitive advantage in the global tourism market, goods and services exports; education and investment.

Within the Top Ranking of Latin American Country Brands with the best perception, Mexico ranks third after Brazil and Argentina and ahead of Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

According to the Latin America Country Brand Report, Mexico has recorded an upturn and is the other Latin American giant that has managed to move up three slots on the scale.
