President Enrique Peña Nieto visited the Mexican Army soldiers injured in an ambush on September 30.
“The injured soldiers are living proof that their task is not easy and that it is necessary to have great courage and enormous courage to keep going and meet one’s commitment to Mexico in these difficult tasks”: EPN
The soldiers are being treated at the Mazatlán Regional Military Specialties Hospital, where the president offered them his support and solidarity, and wished them a speedy recovery.
“As president, I am more than grateful to our Armed Forces. They are a source of great pride.
They are an example and an inspiration to their comrades in arms” said EPN
The president instructed National Defense Secretary General Salvador Cienfuegos Zepeda to provide the wounded soldiers and their families with all the care they require.
