Earlier today, President Enrique Peña Nieto inaugurated  the Doctor and General Rafael Moreno Valle Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital  in the State of Puebla.

The president declared that one of the government’s main commitments is to ensure Mexicans’ right to health protection.

New Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital

·        Investment of over 750 million pesos.

·        The hospital will provide about 3.5 million inhabitants of Puebla and Veracruz, with specialized care.

Highlights

·        In three years, over 500 hospital units and over 2,700 outpatient units have been built, completed or modernized nationwide, with an investment of nearly 20 billion pesos. 

·        In Puebla, the government has invested over $2,603 million pesos in health.

·        It has used these resources to support projects such as the Puebla Children's Hospital, the Atlixco Medical Complex, the  Cholula, Teziutlán, Acatlan and Tlatlauquitepec General Hospitals and the 

        Tlachichuca and Teziutlán Health Centers with expanded services and the Mixquitepec and San Nicolás de los Ranchos Health Centers.

·        In three years, 589 hospital units and over 2,800 outpatient units have been built, completed or modernized nationwide, with an investment of over $34 billion pesos.
