In Yucatán, President Enrique Peña Nieto delivered digital televisions as part of the Program for the Transition to Digital Terrestrial Television.

The Digital Television Delivery Program is designed to ensure that low-income communities in our country gain access to better quality services.

Beneficiaries of this program are those included in the Ministry of Social Development’s lists and programs such as PROSPERA, LICONSA and DICONSA, which correspond to low-income families who can thereby join the digital age.

The government is committed to delivering 9.7 million television sets to the same number of Mexican families.

Through the transition to Digital Television, Mexicans will have access to better quality telephony, internet, radio and television.
