President Peña Nieto said that in Mexico, “We are working to increase educational and cultural exchanges with Australia,” and enable Mexican workers to travel to that country and reside there.
He added that the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP), to which Mexico and Australia belong, will significantly contribute to strengthening the economic and commercial ties between the countries comprising it.
Malcolm Turnbull congratulated President Peña Nieto on the structural reforms undertaken and completed in Mexico. He highlighted Australian entrepreneurs’ interest in investing and developing in our country, especially in the area of urban infrastructure.
President Peña Nieto invited the Australian prime minister to pay an official visit to Mexico.
